BAHRAIN national football team arrived in Amman from Hong Kong yesterday ahead of their Group ‘C’ clash against Iraq on Tuesday in the 2022 World Cup and 2023 AFC Cup joint qualifier.
Bahrain drew 0-0 with Hong Kong on Thursday and are in second spot in the group on eight points, two below leaders Iraq.
The Bahrain delegation is led by Bahrain Football Association (BFA) board member Mohammed Al Hammadi and includes national team director Rashid Al Bounainain, technical affairs chief Abed Al Ansari, national coach Helio Sousa of Portugal and a 23-member team.
