Bahrain: Smokers in Bahrain spend approximately BD148 million a year, according to a survey conducted by our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
A smoker spends an average of BD2 for two packs of cigarettes daily, while the number of smokers in the country is estimated at 206,000, representing 20 per cent of the population .
