Riyadh – The Saudi Royal Court mourned the death of Prince Faisal bin Badr bin Fahd bin Sa’ad bin Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Al-Saud.
In a statement posted on the state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA), it announced that funeral will be performed today, Tuesday.
The deceased is the honorary member of Riyadh-based Al-Nasr Football Club. He last posted a tweet on Friday congratulating the team on winning its match. “Thank You All on this important win and inshallah more victories to come”.
The late prince hails from the branch of Prince Sa’ad, who is the brother of the founder and first monarch of Saudi Arabia late King Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
He was previously honorary member and later became the president of Jeddah-based Al-Ahli Club. He married the daughter of Prince Badr bin Fahd bin Saud Al-Kabeer in a big wedding ceremony.
Al-Nasr Club president Saud bin Mohammed Al-Suweilam also mourned the death of the prince on behalf of all football fans.
