Riyadh – Many airline firms are grounding their Boeing 737 MAX after the US-manufactured jet suffered its second fatal crash in five months.
Ethiopian Airlines ' brand new Boeing 737 MAX crashed two days ago leaving 149 passengers and 8 crew members dead.
In view of this, Saudi airline companies have announced that their fleet do not have any Boeing 737 MAX planes.
In a statement to Okaz, Saudi low-cost airline Flynas' corporate communication director general and spokesman said that his company’s fleet is made of Airbus 320 only.
A sources from the Saudi Arabia Airlines said that the national carriers does not operate any Boeing 737 Max on any of its domestic or international flights.
