Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti customs authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle a massive haul of cigarettes into Saudi Arabia.
They searched a car which was entering the Saudi territories through the Nuwaisab border point and discovered the boxes which were hidden in various parts of the vehicle, reported Akhbaar24.
The driver, a Gulf national, is facing legal action for smuggling prohibited products. He claimed the boxes of cigarettes were for personal use.
