Bahrain: Heterosexual transmission of HIV in Bahrain is on the rise, warned a top health official.
While most cases of HIV in the country were a result of addicts injecting drugs, the recent trend was transmission through couples, said Health Ministry medical department chairwoman and HIV consultation committee head Dr Jameela Al Salman .
