BAHRAIN’s police vehicles are being equipped with new hi-tech systems.
This includes cameras already fitted in some patrol cars that automatically scan vehicle licence plates, as well as others that provide live high definition video streams to the Interior Ministry’s operations centre – effectively acting as mobile CCTV units .
