EURO MOTORS, the official importer of Ferrari and Maserati luxury sport automobiles in Bahrain, opened the largest exotic cars showroom in the kingdom at a glamorous VIP event.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Al Zayani.
The showroom in Sitra has a total built-in area of 5,000sqm and accommodates 12 Ferrari and Maserati vehicles on display – six of each brand.
The state-of-the-art showroom is also designed to further fit three pre-approved vehicles for each brand and a dedicated room for car delivery to better serve the clientele in Bahrain.
The new facility has two lounges, at the showroom and in the service area.
Clients have the opportunity to tailor their vehicles in the dedicated configuration rooms for each brand.
The new facility will have a highly skilled service team, 12 working bays and one hybrid safe bay.
Mr Al Zayani praised such initiatives, saying they reflected moves to revive trade in the kingdom. “The growth of the national economy and the prosperity movement of commercial and investment activity in the country translate the policies and strategies of the government related to this vital sector.
“The government encourages all initiatives aimed at pushing the national economy and employing more manpower.”
Two new vehicles were launched at the ceremony.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast is the new benchmark in the mid-front-engined sports car segment, featuring a new 6.5-litre V12 engine that has a maximum power output of 8,500rpm and goes from 0-100 kmph in 2.9 seconds.
Also launched was the Maserati Ghibli range, a four-door sports executive sedan and the first E-segment model by the Italian luxury brand.
The Ghibli and Ghibli S both feature a new-generation twin turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine with 410hp for the Ghibli S and 330 for the Ghibli.
The Ghibli S races to 100 kmph in 5.0 seconds while the Ghibli accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds.
