PLANS are underway to remove one of Muharraq’s oldest monuments amid conflicting reports on the reasons behind bulldozing it.
The Muharraq Municipal Council has received plans to tear down the 36-year-old Falcon Statue, located near Bahrain International Airport, from the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry .
