Manama: Dozens of abandoned homes suspected of being used as vice dens in one of Bahrain’s oldest residential areas could soon be torn down.
It is forbidden for homeowners to demolish their houses in Muharraq Governorate unless they have prior permission from the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), as it seeks to preserve the area’s heritage .
