Saudi nationals were urged to be vigilant and keep away from public places in the Philippines, according to Al Riyadh newspaper.
The Saudi Embassy in Manilla called on its citizens in the Philippines to call its hotline, which is available round the clock, in case of emergency.
The embassy issued the travel advisory in the backdrop of the current security situation in Marawi City in southern Philippines, and the terrorist threats which target foreign tourists.
