A new species of dead fish washed up on Kuwaiti shores, reigniting the debate about the problem of sea pollution, according to Al Qabas newspaper.
Environmental activists spotted a quantity of fish, locally known as “Al-jam” lying along “Chalet” beach in Al Jalia’a area.
The activists called on the relevant authorities to take necessary measures to tackle the problem of sea pollution which seems to be expanding from “John” beach to other coastal areas.
They stressed the importance of protecting the environment, warning against the danger of sea pollutants on public health and marine animals.
