HORSERACING – RASHID Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) announced yesterday that it has renewed its partnership with Charles Russell Speechlys law firm as a silver sponsor for one of the races taking place on a Bahrain Turf Series race day, which is one of the most prominent events on the regional and global racing calendar.
The deal is part of REHC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with leading international institutions in support of horseracing.
REHC CEO Yusuf Osama Buheji emphasised that this partnership reflects the long-standing distinguished relations between the two parties and the confidence that international institutions place in the status that Bahraini horseracing has achieved, thanks to the continuous patronage and support of the kingdom’s wise leadership.
Buheji added that the sustained cooperation with Charles Russell Speechlys, one of the world’s leading law firms with great expertise in the sports and business sectors, is an added value to the club’s journey in developing a professional horseracing infrastructure and supports its efforts to enhance the kingdom’s presence on the international stage as a preferred destination for hosting and organising major races.
The sponsorship renewal agreement was signed, in the presence of Buheji, by REHC business development and strategic partnerships chief Fatema Al Balooshi and Charles Russell Speechlys partner Mazin Al Mardhi.
For his part, Al Mardhi expressed Charles Russell Speechlys’ pride in maintaining its cooperation with REHC following the significant successes achieved through the partnership last season.
He reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to supporting quality sporting events in the kingdom and contributing to strengthening its status as a leading sporting and economic hub in the region.
Al Mardhi added that Charles Russell Speechlys is proud to be part of this international sporting event, which brings together some of the most prominent participants from around the world, emphasising that this ongoing cooperation embodies a shared vision of supporting excellence and professionalism in horseracing and contributing to the development of this sport at both local and international levels.
