Qatar’s Amir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met on Saturday with the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, at Al Udeid Air Base.
The Amir affirmed that his meeting with the US President was a good opportunity to discuss peace plans in the Middle East, follow up on efforts to solidify the agreement to end the war in Gaza, and explore prospects for strategic cooperation between the two friendly nations.
Posting on his official X account, the Amir said he was pleased to meet his friend, US President Donald Trump, during the president's stopover in the country with his accompanying delegation as part of his Asian tour.
