An Iraqi man in Basra is facing backlash after painting a dog blue in a video.
The footage quickly spread and immediately garnered widespread criticism and condemnation, as many called for the man to be held accountable for animal abuse.
The man later apologised on social media, stating that the dog is his personal guard dog and showing that most of the paint had already been removed.
