BOXING – BAHRAIN Boxing Federation (BBF) president Rashid Feleyfel conducted field visits to some of the most renowned boxing gyms in Los Angeles, California, in the US.
His tour was a pioneering step that reflects Bahrain’s commitment to developing the sport of boxing in the kingdom.
Feleyfel was accompanied by Amer Abdullah, business manager of boxing legend Mike Tyson, who assisted him in exploring the gyms and building valuable connections within the global boxing community.
Amongst the boxing icons Feleyfel and Abdullah met with were Freddie Roach of Wild Card Boxing Club, Justin Fortune of Fortune Gym, and Ricky Funez of Ten Goose Boxing Gym, among others.
The visits aim to gain new expertise and establish distinguished relations with international boxing institutions, while strengthening Bahrain’s position on the global boxing map.
