THE ‘I am Talented’ programme continues its visits to various facilities across the kingdom to discover and hone talents.
Organised and supervised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) equal opportunities and gender balance sports field committee, a programme delegation, headed by director Salama Mohammed Atiq, toured a number of venues hosting young talents in various sports, and was briefed on the progress of training and mechanisms used, in addition to learning about the most prominent challenges facing coaches and administrators.
The delegation emphasised that the visits are part of a comprehensive plan aimed at strengthening communication within the sports field and building bridges with national federations, clubs, and specialised centres.
This will contribute to nurturing young Bahraini athletes and providing an ideal environment that helps in their development. The ‘I am Talented’ programme is set to continue its visits to various facilities over the coming period.
