FUTSAL – Bahrain's men’s futsal national team scored a 1-0 victory over Lebanon in a friendly match played in the kingdom.
Hasan Al Jadahesah was on target for the Bahrainis with the lone goal of the contest, which was played at the Bahrain Football Association futsal hall at the BFA premises in Riffa.
The tune-up was part of both sides’ preparations for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers, which are scheduled to be played next month.
Bahrain are in qualification’s Group B, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, along with the host Thais, South Korea, and Brunei Darussalam.
Lebanon are in Group E, to be played in Hangzhou, China, with the host Chinese, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
There are 31 nations competing in qualifying, divided into seven groups of four and one group of three.
The eight group winners and the seven best-ranked runners-up from the qualifiers will join hosts Indonesia at the 18th edition of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup, which will be held next year in Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 27 to February 7.
