MMA – BRAVE Combat Federation congratulated yesterday BRAVE CF alumni Khamzat Chimaev on capturing the UFC middleweight title, marking another historic moment for global mixed martial arts (MMA).
Chimaev’s remarkable journey to the top of the sport began under the BRAVE CF banner, where he was scouted and went on to build an undefeated 4-0 win-loss record.
His time in BRAVE CF featured some of the promotion’s most memorable performances, including a spectacular knockout victory over current ranked UFC middleweight Ikram Aliskerov.
Following his dominant run with BRAVE CF, Chimaev made the transition to the UFC, where he continued his meteoric rise with the same relentless fighting style and finishing instincts that first caught the world’s attention.
His championship triumph stands as a testament to his dedication, skill, and unwavering determination.
With this achievement, Chimaev becomes the second BRAVE CF athlete to transition into the UFC and claim a world title, following in the footsteps of Ilia Topuria. This milestone highlights BRAVE CF’s role as one of the premier platforms for discovering and developing world-class MMA talent.
BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid praised Chimaev’s accomplishment. “Khamzat’s journey is a proud moment for BRAVE CF and for MMA as a whole,” said Shahid.
“We are honoured that part of his path to greatness began with us, where his talent first shone on the global stage. His rise to UFC champion reflects his relentless dedication and proves that BRAVE’s scouting vision – finding and elevating talent from every corner of the world – can truly change the landscape of MMA.”
