Bahrain's cycling national team rider Ahmed Naser has been named onto the Bahrain Victorious Development Team roster for the 51st Circuit des Ardennes International in France.
The five-stage road race is part of the 2025 calendar on the Union Cycliste Internationale’s Europe Tour.
It is held in the northern part of the country, starting from the commune of Sedan in Ardennes and ending at Charleville-Mezieres after 819 kilomtres of racing.
Naser is joined on the Bahrain Victorious Development Team line-up by Kasper Borremans of Finland, Jakob Omrzel of Slovenia, Seth Dunwoody of Ireland, Nolan Huysmans of Belgium, and Bryan Olivo of Italy.
There are a total of 152 riders set to compete in the event, representing more than 25 leading cycling teams from around the world.
Today’s opening stage will cover a distance of 133km, after which stage two tomorrow will be held over 171km. Friday’s third leg will be over 173km, before the fourth and penultimate stage on Saturday takes place over 175km – the longest distance of the race.
The fifth and final stage will then cover 167km on Sunday.
The Bahrain Victorious Development Team is part of Team Bahrain Victorious’ commitment to growing young talent in cycling and setting them up for success as they look to enter the UCI World Tour (WT) – the premier international road racing series held annually, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the sport’s worldwide governing body.
The Bahrain Victorious Development Team works closely with the WT team, enabling riders to train, race, and learn alongside seasoned professionals. This includes participation in select non-WT classified races, creating an integrated and immersive development experience.
