The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday condemned in strong terms the assassination bid on the Somali President Shaikh Mahmud.
The ministry in a statement renewed the unwavering rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence, affirmed full support for the republic of Somalia with respect of the measures it may take to safeguard its security and stability.
It offered condolences to the Somali Government and people and wished the injured quick recovery.
