Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs president Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa yesterday chaired the council’s 25th regular session of its fifth term.
The council congratulated His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the successful launch of Bahrain’s first locally designed satellite, Al Munther, which highlighted the achievement as a step in strengthening Bahrain’s role in the space sector .
