Riyadh – The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) signed six collaboration agreements in the fields of broadcasting and media training with various government and private entities on the first day of the Saudi Media Forum, held in Riyadh from February 19 to 20. The agreements aim to enhance cooperation and develop media content.
The signed agreements involve several organizations, including Arabsat, stc, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA), the National eLearning Center, and Red Sea Global (RSG).
The notable agreement with RCU aims to enhance the commission’s international presence by covering visits from international media delegations during international summits, conferences, and seasonal events. The partnership will also facilitate coverage of local and international events organized by the commission, ensuring exceptional media coverage that highlights AlUla's historical and touristic significance.
Meanwhile, the agreement with GEOSA focuses on collaborating to share geospatial data and information. The partnership aims to enhance the Kingdom's image and showcase advancements in the geospatial sector. It will also provide training and qualification for national cadres in media fields and support media efforts to promote the products of both entities.
The Saudi Media Forum and the concurrent Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) represent an exceptional event, combining creativity and technology to build fruitful media partnerships that promote sustainable development and shape the future of media. It brings together media creators and leaders in one place in Riyadh. The forum will also present the Saudi Media Forum Award, which aims to develop media content, foster competition, and honor innovators.
