His Majesty King Hamad has commended Al Azhar’s role in promoting Islam’s message of moderation, tolerance and compassion.
His Majesty was speaking as he received Al Azhar Grand Imam and Muslim Council of Elders chairman Dr Ahmed Al Tayeb, at Sakhir Palace yesterday, on the sidelines of his participation in the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference .
