A South Korean man was arrested after he attempted to rob a bank in the city of Busan armed only with a 'dinosaur-shaped water gun'.
According to reports, a man in his 30s walked into a bank in the Gijang-gun area of Busan, disguised in a scarf and hat and carrying a travel bag.
The man then pulled out a black plastic bag, pretending it was a weapon and yelled at everyone to get down on their knees.
He blocked the bank's entrance and then told the teller to fill his bag with 50,000 Korean won bills.
The robber's attempt was foiled, however, when a brave citizen managed to attack him. He knocked away the 'weapon' from the robber's hand and subdued him until the police arrived.
The police were shocked to discover a toy dinosaur-shaped water gun in the plastic bag, instead of a lethal weapon.
According to the police, the bank robber had been dealing with financial difficulties for years and had not been working for nearly five years. They also said that this bank robbery was very poorly planned, with the robber bringing a water gun and not even having a getaway vehicle.
