Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Civil Defence has issued a warning for thunderstorms, which are expected to hit most parts of the kingdom and last until Thursday.
Rain is predicted across the kingdom, and potential flash floods, hail, and strong downdrafts are also expected in Riyadh, Jeddah, and other nearby cities.
The Civil Defence advised everyone to take necessary precautions and avoid all flood-prone areas like valleys.
The authority has urged the public to keep track of the latest weather updates via official channels and social media platforms.
