Upon the directives of His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, ordered that work in ministries, agencies and government institutions will be suspended on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in support of the national football team in the final match of the Arabian Gulf Cup, which will be held in Kuwait between Bahrain and Oman.
This directive reflects the King’s keenness to support sports and athletes, and HRH Prince Salman’s interest to strengthen national belonging and encourage all Bahrainis to support their national team on this important sporting occasion .
