SHOWJUMPING – The Military Sports Association’s field in Al Raffa will witness exciting contests tomorrow when the National Day Showjumping Championship will be held.
The event, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef), is expected to witness wide participation from local riders and stables, all keen to claim top spots in the prestigious championship.
The event will be held to celebrate the kingdom’s National Day and the 25th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne.
On the occasion, Breef president Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa expressed his pride and appreciation for the excitement generated by both horseracing and showjumping competitions during this season, which also witnessed two international championships, the Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Championship and the Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa One-Star and Two-Star championships, organised by Breef.
Shaikh Isa pointed out that Breef is harnessing all its capabilities to ensure the success of one of the largest and most important showjumping championships of the season, wishing the contestants success.
He also highlighted the role of the sponsors and supporters who continue to have a great impact on the success of the showjumping competitions in Bahrain. He expressed his gratitude to the sponsors for their prominent role in promoting equestrian sports in general and showjumping in particular.
