MMA – THE Indian Club and Pakistan Club received mixed martial arts (MMA) stars representing their respective countries ahead of their showdowns tonight in Brave CF 92.
The event is set to take place at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, and it marks an historic moment in South Asian MMA.
Indian athletes Srikant Sekhar, Mohammed Farhad, Yadwinder Singh, Seth Rosario, Ehtesham Ansari, and Suchika Tariyal were welcomed by The Indian Club’s management and hundreds of enthusiastic members.
Reflecting on the occasion, Farhad, one of the more seasoned members of Team Bharat, who’s scheduled to take on Babar Ali in a featured main card bantamweight bout, shared his sentiments about the overwhelming support they have received in Bahrain.
“These have been some incredible days,” Farhad said. “We have the biggest fights of our professional careers and in the history of South Asian MMA, and the amount of support we’re getting shows that everybody understands how important the moment is.”
Babar Ali is joined in the Pakistani fighting contingent by Rizwan Ali, Abbas Khan, Ismail Khan, and Aqib Awan. They were welcomed by the Pakistan Club’s leadership and a lively crowd of supporters.
Speaking about the experience, Babar Ali said: “It’s been an unforgettable journey so far. These fights are not just about us but about representing our nation and the pride of Pakistani MMA.”
Brave CF 92 is the grand finale of this year’s Brave International Combat Week, bringing a thrilling conclusion to a year of record-breaking achievements for the world’s most global MMA promotion.
