Nothing is going Jaguar's way these days. The British car manufacturer made headlines after they revealed a complete brand overhaul, with the new identity meeting abject backlash from loyalists.
Jaguar has now revealed its first new car since the rebrand, and the reactions are polarising, to say the least.
The new Jaguar Type 00 is a fully electric car that comes in two distinct colours: Miami Pink and London Blue.
The car, which is expected to be sold in 2026, will cost around £100,000.
While some reacted positively to the new car, praising the futuristic design and commending the company for going completely electric, others were not so kind.
Social media users criticised the company for abandoning the values and heritage that have long been associated with the car brand. Some also criticised the colour choice of the new car, abandoning the traditional British racing green associated with the brand for what some are calling "woke" colours.
