The Qualifying Riders Dressage Competition, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) at the Military Sports Association’s field in Riffa, took place under the patronage of Al Fursan Team captain Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa.
The event attracted wide participation from riders and stables, all showcasing high levels of control and skill, reflecting the sport’s growing prominence and the advanced abilities of Bahrain’s riders.
In the Introductory Level for Adults, Adham Najah on Golden Girl placed first with 69.167 points, Yousef Ahmed on Night Fire came second with 68.333 points, and a tie for third went to Rawaan Al Ansari on Gandhi D and Salah Sind on Espomi Cien.
In the Introductory Level for Juniors, Reema Al Jahrami took first on Turkzinka with 68.333 points, followed by Dalal Hashem on ES Dor with 67.083, and Muneera Bukamal also on ES Dor with 66.250 points.
At the Preliminary Level, Mahmood Ghazwan on Puma Sin secured first place with 71.034 points, Martin Van on Gero followed with 68.276 points, and Ali Ghazwan on Panadero Cien took third with 67.586 points. In the Preliminary Level for juniors, Emma Nyland won first on Mahir with 66.724 points, followed by Reema Al Jahrami on Turkzinka with 66.034 points, and Hanan Al Mahmeed on Gointon HS with 65.862 points.
Naziya Al Amari topped the Beginner Level with a score of 65.690 on Bolero RF, followed by Mohamed Al Omari on Puma Sin at 65.517 points, and Maria Germanova on Arco with 65.172 points. In the Novice competition, Maria Germanova again secured first place on Arco with 68.983 points, Martin Van on Gero took second with 68.793, and Redha Munfaridi on Navarro CAV finished third with 67.776 points.
At the Advanced Medium Level, Megan Black on Lionel achieved first place with a score of 72.98, followed by Mohamed Al Maabad on Neumantion with 65 points, and Abdulredha Al Afoo on Limited Edition with 61.12 points.
Top winners received their awards at the event’s conclusion.
The next competition will be held on December 6 and 7, featuring a second Qualifying Riders Dressage Competition along with the FEI Global Dressage Challenge.
