The UAE Embassy in Paris and Spain have urged citizens to follow safety instructions issued by authorities as Storm Kirk heads towards Europe.
Storm Kirk is expected to hit the northwest of France and Spain, and UAE citizens abroad are urged to register in the Tawajudi service.
The current track and intensity of the storm are uncertain, but recent models suggest it will run into northern France, bringing heavy rain and strong damaging winds. Other models suggest it may develop further inland, impacting Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Germany.
The storm is likely to hit late today or tomorrow (Thursday).
