Bahrain International Airport is targeting a substantial expansion of its global network, aiming to increase its destinations to 100 by 2026, Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Mohamed AlKaabi has said.
In his opening keynote during Routes World 2024 at Exhibition World Bahrain, the minister said this ambitious plan is part of Bahrain's broader efforts to position itself as a major aviation hub in the Gulf region .
