A Jordanian man who was recently fired from his job returned to his former workplace and opened fire, killing the manager and injuring two people.
The incident took place at a factory in Aqaba, Southern Jordan. The man, who had his face covered, entered the premises and opened fire with a Kalashnikov rifle.
The Jordanian Public Security Directorate issued a statement following the incident, emphasising that the injured victims are hospitalised and that the investigation is ongoing.
At the time of writing, the shooter remained at large.
