The Falcon submarine cable, operated by GCX between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, experienced an interruption, according to Kuwait's General Authority for Communications and Information Technology.
Al Qabas newspaper reported that the disruption, which occurred in international waters, affected internet services nationwide.
Technical solutions are being worked on with local service providers, in coordination with GCX and the communication authority, to reroute the data through alternative international cables to ensure the continuity of internet services.
