HORSERACING – RASHID Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) has signed a silver sponsorship agreement with Charles Russell Speechlys, a leading international law firm, for the 2024-25 horseracing season.
It follows the directives of the REHC High Committee, chaired by Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, highlighting the importance of establishing partnerships that contribute to supporting efforts to advance horseracing and ensure the success of organising international races and other competitions.
The agreement was signed by REHC chief executive Yusuf Osama Buheji and Charles Russell Speechlys partner Mazen Al Mardhi.
Marking the occasion, Buheji stressed the importance of establishing partnerships with various local and international institutions and companies, in line with the REHC’s development efforts. This also aligns with the kingdom’s approach to hosting international horseracing events and competitions.
He also pointed out the importance of such agreements that open new horizons for cooperation, praising the partnership with Charles Russell Speechlys. He acknowledged the firm’s officials for their interest and continuous support for horseracing in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, Al Mardhi expressed his appreciation for the partnership between Charles Russell Speechlys and REHC, and for becoming a silver sponsor for one of the races taking place on a Bahrain Turf Series race day in the upcoming season.
He stressed the firm’s commitment to supporting horseracing in Bahrain, which is witnessing great development at all levels, which contributes to enhancing the prestigious position of the kingdom at the sport’s international level.
