Mission Command triumphed yesterday in an international horserace in the UK to claim yet another win for Bahrain’s Victorious Racing, owned by His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Racing in the Dacre Arms Nursery Handicap, held over five furlongs at Beverley Racecourse, jockey Callum Shepherd steered the two-year-old to the win for trainer George Scott. J Street was third from the event’s eight runners, racing for Nickbradleyracing45 and Alfa Site Services, Craig Lidster, and Shane Gray.
Meanwhile, also at Beverley yesterday, Winterfair claimed third place for Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club High Committee honorary president Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

They finished not far behind winner Lerwick, competing for The Marquess Of Zetland, Edward Bethell, and P J McDonald, and runner-up Shimmering Sands, racing for Imperial Racing and J Blackburn, Michael and David Easterby, and Joanna Mason.
