The Royal Medical Services (RMS) transplant team has successfully performed a first-of-its-kind liver transplant in the kingdom on a patient in his twenties, said RMS Commander Brigadier Dr Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
He was speaking as RMS inaugurated the Organ Transplantation Programme .
