On the occasion of the 23rd edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Embassy of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in collaboration with the Royal University for Women, presented a captivating lecture titled ‘’Italian and Sustainability: Italo Calvino, amongst the most notable Italian narrators of the 1900s, and the poetics of sustainability’’, at the Grazia Deledda Centre for Italian Language and Culture.
The lecture provided an insightful exploration into the imaginative universe of Italo Calvino, one of the most celebrated Italian writers of the 20th century, and its connection to the theme of environmental sustainability .
