THE activities for fans at the highly-anticipated Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 get underway today with the F1 Pit Lane Walk, open to all ticket-holders at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), Sakhir.
The walk gives fans a chance to see the top flight’s teams and their cars up close while in the F1 pit lane, as they get ready for the biggest weekend of the year from tomorrow until Sunday.
The gates will be open for the pit lane walk from 6pm to 9.30pm, with the walk actually taking place from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Race fans will be able to see the F1 team members hard at work in their garages as they prepare for all the action of the grand prix. They will also be able to take pictures and, if lucky, spot one of their favourite F1 drivers in their garage, working with their engineers and mechanics.
Another exciting fan-engagement activity is a raffle where race-goers will have a chance to win valuable prizes on Race Day Sunday.
All those seated along the 10,500-capacity Main Grandstand will be included in a draw and may become one of the many winners in BIC’s “10 Every 10” raffle.
All they have to do is be in their allotted seats from 4.45pm until the 57-lap night race starts at 6pm. Ten random winners will be announced every 10 minutes during this period.
Prizes include high-end mobile phones, tablets, smart watches, headsets, ear buds, gaming consoles, and much more.
Fans are advised to be in their seats on time as winners will be identified by their seat numbers. They will be announced and located by BIC staff, so they must be in their seat in order to claim their prize.
Only those with Main Grandstand tickets can be part of the draw.
