EDGE announced today that it signed a contract valued at AED4 billion ($1.089 billion) to provide tactical communications and data-link solutions to the UAE Armed Forces.
As one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defence groups, EDGE will provide reliable and secure communications in the air, at sea, and on land. Announced at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2023), the contract will be executed over a period of four years.

In another deal, EDGE Group entity, Halcon, a regional leader in the design and production of guided weapons systems and beyond, announced it has secured a contract worth AED1 billion with the UAE Armed Forces to supply Al Tariq-LR (long-range) precision-guided munitions (PGMs).
The new contract will enhance the UAE Armed Forces air strike capabilities through increasing standoff ranges with advanced AL TARIQ-LR PGMs. Additional features from a recent Block II upgrade will also be included. - TradeArabia News Service
