Muscat : An Omani student has won first place in the Gulf Hackathon competition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Budoor bint Abdullah Al-Yafei won top spot in the applications of artificial intelligence in general education.
In a statement to Oman News Agency, the 11th grade student expressed her happiness for being chosen to represent the country in the competition which aims to expand students’ education in artificial intelligence and provide them with interdisciplinary experiences in the field.
The contest was organised by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States.
