Bahrain and its GCC neighbours need to build their production and export capabilities and move away from consumption and import-driven economic growth, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has said.
Speaking in Riyadh at the 6th Future Investment Initiative (FII) yesterday, he said the big opportunity for the region is to transform from a consumption driven non-oil GDP to that powered by production .
