Bahrain National Football Team coach Helo Sousa has lined up 24 players to take part in the training camp which will be held from tomorrow to September 27.
The list includes Ali Haram, Jassim Al Sheikh, Hamad Shamsan, Sayyed Redha Isa, Mohammed Marhoon, Kumail Al Aswad and Mohammed Al Romaihi (Riffa); Abdulwahab Al Maloud, Walid Al Hayyam, Rashid Al Hooty, Sayyed Mohammed Jaffer, Amin bin Uday (Muharraq); Mohammed Adel, Mahdi Humaidan, Sayyed Ridha Said (Al Khaldiya), Ammar Mohammed, Mahdi Abdullatif, Ibrahim Al Khattal (Manama); Hussein Al Khayyat, Jassim Khulaif, Abdulaziz Al Sheikh (East Riffa); Ibrahim Lutfallah (Al Ahli); Ali Madan (Ajman - UAE); and Abdulla Youssef (Indonesia).
The national team is scheduled to play Cape Verde and Panama in two friendly matches, ahead of the Gulf Cup and the Asian Cup next year.
Meanwhile, Bahrain Football Association president Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and vice-president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa held a meeting with coach Sousa to discuss the team’s plans and strategies.
Shaikh Ali affirmed the association’s support for the team in their future campaigns and also praised the contributions of the technical and administrative staff.
