Manama defeated East Riffa 1-0 yesterday in the 14th round of the Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League.
The match, held at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium, was decided by a goal from Syrian Muhammad Al Hallaq in the 39th minute.
Manama have raised their tally to 29 points from 14 matches and are in second place behind Riffa in the general standings. East Riffa are in fifth place on 21 points.
