Bahrain: Following directives of the Premier on Bahrain Press Day, Information Minister Ali Al Rumaihi affirmed that work is underway to prepare a draft law to consolidate Press and media freedom on the bases of responsibility, professionalism and transparency, in consultation with the relevant parties. He pointed that the new law will be more advanced and comprehensive than the existing one, explaining that it will take into consideration the latest developments in the media and communication sector, as well as in the information and communication technology, including the electronic media .
