The expatriate population in Bahrain has doubled over the past five years, according to a senior Labour Ministry official.
Nearly 150,000 of them are living in more than 3,000 licensed labour accommodations, said Labour and Social Development Ministry Labour Under-Secretary Sabah Al Dossary .
