Manama: Many small and medium sized contractors have complained they might be forced to shut-down due to rising material costs, tougher competition from foreign firms and Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s (LMRA) stringent rules and procedures.
During a meeting at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) yesterday, Bahraini contractors said their business was also suffering due to bureaucratic red-tape .
