Riyadh: The General Authority for Meteorology and Environment forecast unstable weather in various parts of Saudi Arabia, according to Almowaten.
It warned against a thick sandstorm which will shroud the province of Riyadh for up to 20 hours.
The weather alert said that the sandstorm will be particularly severe in Al Dawadmi, Quawaiqia, Mazahmiya, Houdhat Bani Tamim, Mujamaa and other regions.
The sandstorm, which started late on Tuesday night, will last until 8pm on Wednesday night. Motorists were urged to be cautious as the horizontal visibility would be affected.
