Kuwait City: The Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah on Monday (February 11) received Kuwaiti cancer fighter Shaima Al Eidi, Al Qabas reported.
Al Eidi, who was diagnosed with cancer more than two years ago, was treated in the UK.
She spreads hope through her account on Instagram and defies the disease, extending help to other patients to fight cancer.
Eidi, an English teacher for children with special needs, holds a masters degree in psychology and social language and a masters degree from the University of Cambridge in the UK.
She became the first Arab member to be accredited for a worldwide free stem cell donation website for children suffering from cancer in the UK. She was refused treatment by a US-based hospital due to the advanced stage of her cancer.
Known as "Ambassador of Humanitarian Action for Arab Youth", she also created the first designs for wigs for cancer children for free.
The Kuwaiti activist participated in several international conferences and symposia.
She updates her fans and followers about her health on her Instagram account and spreads a message of hope and strong will.
